  Do you contact my suppliers?

  No. Outbound emails to suppliers always originate from your account, never ours. Your account managers should never know we exist unless you tell them.

• Q02

  Will using this raise prices on me?

  No. We don't tell suppliers what you're paying or what we're benchmarking. We surface your own data privately. Pricing is between you and your account manager.

• Q03

  I have hundreds of old invoices. Do I have to upload them all?

  Not yourself. v0 is concierge — give us access to your inbox or pass us a folder, and we'll process the historical invoices for you. v1 will handle ingest automatically via the Chrome extension.

  Are you only in Bournemouth?

  We started there because that's where Jamie's customer interviews happened, but the analysis works for any UK postcode where we have enough comparable data. Hampshire, Dorset, and London are best-covered today; we expand as builders sign up.

  What does it cost?

  Free during v0. We're learning what's actually worth charging for. v1 pricing will be published before we charge anyone — no surprise bills.

• Q06

  Which suppliers do you cover?

  Travis Perkins, Jewson, Howdens, MKM, Elliots, Solent BM, Covers, Huws Gray are best-covered. Any merchant whose invoices you forward us is fair game — we just need enough invoices in the regional cohort to give a confident answer.

  What about data privacy?

  We process the line items, prices, branch, and account manager from your invoices to compute regional benchmarks. We never share data that identifies your business, your spend, or your suppliers' specific quotes with anyone outside your account. Full policy at /privacy.

  Can I quit and take my data?

  Yes. We export everything we hold on you on request — by email, no friction. We delete on request too.

• Q09

  Are you Benchr or ConstructionIntel?

  ConstructionIntel is the public name. Benchr was the internal working name when we started — you might still see it on the Chrome extension repo, or in some founder emails. They're the same thing.
